INEC BVAS malfunctions, fails to capture 90-year old voter

Some Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines deployed by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the Ekiti State Governorship Election malfunctioned in a few Polling Units during the voting exercise.

One of the electorate, who experienced delay as a result of INEC BVAS malfunction, included a 90-year-old Mama Adesomo Afolabi.

The 90-year-old Mama Adesomo Afolabi’s face and fingerprint could not be captured due to BVAS malfunction when Mama Afolabi was planning to cast her vote at PU 007, Ado “J” Okesa In front of Fajuyi’s House/ Fajuyi Okesa in Ado-Ekiti, the State Capital.
