Ahmed Adamu Mua’zu, the former governor of Bauchi State has vowed never to interfere with the State Government affairs, saying Governor Bala Mohammed should be allowed to administer the State without unnecessary interferences by godfathers and others political forces that might want to muddle with governance in the State.

Mua’zu, who spoke during the inauguration of the new Governor’s Office undertaken by Vice President Kashim Shettima in BauKashim Shettima’s foot in his mouth: An infra dignitatemchi, said he did not forget anything at the Government House while leaving office and would not go back to interfere with the way and manner the present Governor administers Bauchi State.

He said that since he left Office as the State governor, “today is the first time of my coming to Government House and it’s because I was invited,” adding that he parked everything that belonged to him, so that he would not be tempted to think of coming back.

The former governor, Mua’zu however applauded the efforts of the present governor, Bala Mohammed, for putting the State in his heart, just as he commended Bala for developing the State in terms of infrastructure and other developmental projects that are ongoing in the State.

He said that Bala’s giant strides had brought back the lost pride and glory of the State, adding that the governor hax performed far beyond his watch, but urged the people of the State to continue to pray for the governor so that he could develop the State beyond expectations.
Meanwhile, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State on Sunday performed the ground breaking of the construction of two first flyover bridges in the heart of Bauchi by Governor Bala Mohammed-led Administration..

At the flag-off of the two flyover bridges held at the former Wunti Roundabout, Governor Fintiri declared that his Bauchi counterpart, Governor Bala Mohammad, had developed a legacy of promises being kept.

“With the projects I have seen in Bauchi State and the ones in the offing including the overhead bridges, we are about to flag off now, I am left with no other option than to congratulate the good people of Bauchi State for having a visionary and courageous leader like Senator Bala.

“The true definition of leadership often times, is not rooted in the quantum of resources at the disposal of a leader. It is more measured by the vision and courage such a leader brings to the fore in the decision of how such resource are deployed and the craft of what project are prioritized”, he said.

Governor Fintiri while commending Governor Bala Mohammed for the design and prioritization of projects, noted that only few leaders had the courage to rise above lazy routes and brace up to gigantic projects.

He said that overerhead bridges referred to as flyovers are not just symbols of municipal ecstasies but solutions to vehicular traffic which eases vehicular movement and traffic gridlock.
