AJE Group, producers of Big Cola and Cifrut, has launched a new 740ml beverage, Cielo, in the Nigerian market.

The company said the drink is enriched with antioxidants, contains natural colouring and has zero sugar. It is available in three flavours — orange, apple and lemon-lime.

Speaking at the launch, Hernan Cardova, the managing director and chief executive fficer of the company, said the product responds to a “lifestyle shift toward guilt-free refreshment.”

He added that Cielo offers consumers “choice of drink” through its three flavours and said the company was positioned to provide refreshment to Nigerians “at every touch point.”

Cardova also announced the relaunch of Cifrut in a 500ml bottle and Big Cola in a 660ml bottle, saying the move reflected the company’s desire to provide customers with “more quality products at great affordable prices.”

Also speaking at the event, Olubusayo Kayode, the national sales manager, and the Head of Marketing Operations (National), Perpetual Ohiri, said the company would continue to support customers through “favorable rebate schemes” and “innovative and exciting market support.”

Customers and distributors who attended the launch welcomed the introduction of Cielo into the market, with some describing it as a “must drink” beverage.
