In a momentous homecoming, the ex-Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Musa Ahmed Mohammed, has extended a warm welcome to Engr. Abdullahi Sule as he emerged victorious at the Supreme Court and returned to Lafia, the Nasarawa state capital.

The jubilant reception followed a landmark victory at the Supreme Court, where the governor emerged triumphant in a closely contested legal battle with the People Democratic Candidate, David Ombugadu.

The crowd gathered in eager anticipation, lining the streets adorned with banners and party flags, creating a festive atmosphere.

The two-term ex-Speaker, known for his statesmanship, greeted the governor with enthusiasm, emphasising the significance of the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the democratic process.

Supporters cheered, expressing their unwavering support for the leader, who had successfully weathered the legal storm.

Speaking to journalists, the ex-speaker commended the governor’s resilience and commitment to serving the people of Nasarawa State.

He highlighted the importance of political unity and urged all stakeholders to set aside differences, rallying behind the common goal of progress and development.

Mohammed who is also the Accountant General of the state emphasized the need for “cooperation among government officials, lawmakers, and citizens to address pressing issues and propel Nasarawa State to new heights”.

As the festivities continued, it was evident that the Supreme Court victory had not only solidified the governor’s position but had also ignited a renewed sense of optimism and unity among the people of Nasarawa state.
