Empowering Nigerians through digital transformation top as Tizeti’s NeXTGEN gathers leaders

Players in the African telecommunications, technology, and business communities, are gearing up for the inaugural Tizeti NeXTGEN.

Tizeti, West Africa’s pioneer solar-based internet service provider will convene the conference for Nigeria’s prominent corporate leaders, C-level executives, IT managers, technology startups, and digital thought leaders to discuss the ‘future of digital’.

The futuristic Tizeti NeXTGEN conference themed “The future of Digital is Here”, is in line with the company’s commitment to widening digital inclusion for Africa with affordable broadband connectivity to the continent’s underserved populations,

Speaking ahead of the conference, Kendall Ananyi, Tizeti’s founder and Chief Executive Officer said that Tizeti NeXTGEN is a flagship conference focused on discussing the digital environment in Africa and highlight how digital transformation will empower more Nigerians, stimulate economic activities, provide a foundation for a robust and thriving ecosystem to enable digital leadership for Africa in the 4.0 world and complement the digital efforts of other industry stakeholders in driving investment promotion and building a robust technology ecosystem in Nigeria, and Africa.

New unlimited internet plans

One of the activities to expect from the conference include the unveiling of new unlimited internet plans by Tizeti.

“What is a Tizeti event without new product launches for unlimited internet? Our intelligence shows that Tizeti is ready to launch new unlimited plans leveraging its NextGen wifi equipment,” Ananyi said.

In July last year, a fast-growing wireless Internet service provider in West Africa upgraded its core network infrastructure capacity to 100Gbps which is in line with its focus on accelerating access to affordable broadband connectivity in Africa’s underserved populations, and more recently, due to the increased customer demand for connectivity solutions.

A common rate at which computers can transfer or process information is called megabits per second or Mbps. When you see an Internet speed such as 100mbps this means that 100 million bits of data are being transferred from one machine to another in a single second.

Tizeti is now going to leverage this upgrade to provide additional capacity to support its services as well as future upgrades. Tizeti’s new internet bundles are expected to be faster with this upgrade.

New coverage areas

Tizeti is expected to roll out its services in ten (10) new coverage areas, in addition to Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, and Edo States.

According to statistics from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), 114 cities lack access to broadband internet, thereby denying their inclusion in the digital agenda of the government.

The number represents 25 million Nigerians. With the move by Tizeti, millions of people in those areas where its services will go live can take advantage of high-speed broadband internet. Tizeti pioneered the low-cost, solar-powered technology to deliver unlimited internet solutions in Nigeria and currently provides the cheapest internet packages in Nigeria.

Tizeti Smart Interactive Voice Response Service (IVR)

During Tizeti NeXTGEN, the company will launch its Smart Interactive Voice Response Service (IVR). This is timely because, with more cities and an increased customer base, Tizeti must intensify its customer-service delivery system.

An IVR is essential to automate the mundane customer queries resolution to free up the agents to focus on solving the priority issues. This increases agent productivity and improves customer support and satisfaction.

Other service and giveaways

There will be lots of other talks by C-level speakers and freebies during the conference, including Smart TVs and other gifts that improve people’s virtual experience in a post-COVID world.

To participate in the Tizeti’s NeXTGEN, which holds on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 11 am (WAT), participants are to pre-register via the link, https://bit.ly/TizetiNeXTGEN01 to secure a seat.
