The Consumer Awareness and Financial Enlightenment Initiative (CAFEi) will host its 5th Annual Symposium next week Tuesday in Lagos.

This will bring together regulators, financial institutions, and consumer advocates to discuss protection for vulnerable financial consumers.

The Symposium, themed “Financial Consumer Vulnerability: Mobilising for Protection,” will have Tokunbo Martins, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Guaranty Trust Bank, as its keynote speaker and Remi Abdul, Chairman of Nigeria Credit Corporation as its  special guest.

The CAFEi Annual Symposium is organised annually to deliberate and proffer solutions to key Financial inclusion and Consumer Protection issues.

The CAFEi noted that the Symposium would bring to the fore issues as regards financial vulnerability which needs urgent attention of stakeholders to correct the perceived anomalies.
