Not fewer than six special squads of Civilian JTF lost their lives in tragic accidents between Dikwa and Ngala roads in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State, sources said.

BusinessDay exclusively gathered that the accident occurred on Tuesday between Gajigo and Ngala.

According to CJTF sources, the utility vehicle flipped into the bushes, and the RPGs in the vehicle caused it to burn, turning the CJTF members into ashes.

Similarly, a tragic road accident along the Gombe-Kano Road, claiming the lives of 10 passengers, while seven others sustained varying degrees of injuries in a terrible incident.

BusinessDay gathered that funeral prayers were held at the Bolari Mosque in Gombe for the 10 people killed in the road accident along the Kano–Gombe highway.

The victims, including men and women travelling on the route, died in the crash on Monday. Worshippers and community members gathered to observe the Salatul Janazah before the deceased were laid to rest.

Mourners offered prayers for the repose of the victims and for strength and comfort for their bereaved families.
