Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has pledged the resolve of his administration to partner Innoson Group, also known as IVM, in order to promote made in Nigeria brands.
Governor Ortom spoke today at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi when the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Group, Innoson Cbukwuma visited him.
He promised to continue to encourage the company to continue to provide jobs for Nigerians and thereby reduce capital flight, saying that the task of growing the country’s economy rests upon its people.
Governor Ortom said his visit to Innoson Plastic Industry in Enugu some years ago gave him the inspiration to go into the business.
He described Dr. Innoson Cbukwuma as a highly innovative entrepreneur who has had an incredible impact on the business community in Nigeria in particular and the country’s economy in general.
Director in charge of external relations, Innoson Group, Alfred Nwosu who spoke on behalf of his Chairman, acknowledged Governor Ortom’s giant strides in the state, saying the company believes that its partnership with the Benue State Government would yield numerous benefits for the people of the state.
