Bauchi: Medical, health workers’ union begins prayers for its president over long sickness

The Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) Bauchi chapter on Sunday commenced prayers for the health condition of its President, Biobelemoye Joy Josiah who has been ill for long period of time without any sign of healing. The union also urged residents to pray for his quick recovery.

The prayers were commenced at the Church of Christ In Nations (COCIN), LCC Birshi Gandu and Regional Church Council (RCC) Kagadama, Bauchi State during the Sunday service.

Chairman Bauchi chapter, Dauda M. Shuaibu represented by Asabe Simon who is the secretary women committee while addressing the congregants, called on the people of Bauchi State and Nigerians in general to pray for the healing of their president.

“We are in the Birshi COCIN Church to seek for prayers of the pastors, church elders, elders of the community, traditional leaders and the congregation to support them in prayers about the long time sickness of their president.

Asabe Simon said during the service that the health condition of the President requires God’s intervention, appealing to the people to pray for him in order Biobelemoye Joy Josiah should come back to normal life.

She said that the health condition of the president has been long but nothing yet change, added that people should put him in their families, group and individuals’ prayers for God to heal him and bring him back fully to work.

On his part, the leading Pastor of the Church, Rev. Appolos Jonathan welcomed them to the church, urging them to have faith and believe in God for the quick recovery of their president by the power of the Almighty God.

According to Rev. Appolos “With God victory must be sure.”

Appolos promised Union that the Church would continue to pray for the divine intervention in the health condition of their president.
