BATN Foundation launches charity challenge to empower rural Nigeria

BATN Foundation celebrates 20 years of positive change in rural Nigeria

BATN Foundation has announced a Charity Challenge, calling for applications from non-governmental organisations (NGOs) across Nigeria.

The Charity Challenge is an opportunity for NGOs to nominate and raise funds for a local charity organisation making a positive impact in the society. The BATN Foundation will donate N1 million naira to the selected charity organisation.

To be eligible, NGOs must be duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) or other relevant agencies, have proven experience in areas such as poverty reduction, education, and sustainable development, and have a strong reputation for charitable work.

The selection process will involve a comprehensive review and evaluation of detailed proposals submitted by interested NGOs. Shortlisted NGOs will undergo due diligence to verify their legal status, reputation, and alignment with the Foundation’s values and performance goals.

Oludare Odusanya, General Manager of the BATN Foundation, stated, “We are dedicated to empowering rural Nigeria and recognize the crucial role NGOs play in achieving this goal. Through strategic partnerships, we aim to amplify our impact and support initiatives that directly address the needs for a sustainable future.”

The application deadline is May 17, 2024, and all applications should be submitted via: CharityChallenge-CallForNGOs.

This initiative demonstrates the BATN Foundation’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and its dedication to making a positive impact in rural Nigeria. By partnering with strong and experienced NGOs, the Foundation aims to build a more prosperous and sustainable future for all.
