Jumoke Oduwole, the Special Adviser to the President on Ease of Doing Business, has been nominated as a Patron/Member of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) Professional Forum’s Board of Trustees.
In a statement conveying the nomination to the Forum’s Board, made available to BusinessDay in Abuja on Thursday, the National Coordinator of the Forum, Akeem Akintayo, described the Special Adviser’s nomination as, “ an attestation to your dedication and patriotism, which has not gone unnoticed.”
The forum said her nomination was in recognition of her contributions to the development of Nigeria, which has been a source of inspiration to Nigerians, including the membership and the leadership of the APC.
According to Akintayo, “ the APC (All Progressives Congress) Professionals Forum has nominated Jumoke Oduwole, the Special Adviser to the President on Ease of Doing Business, to serve as a Patron/Member of the Forum’s Board of trustees.
“Her nomination is in recognition of her contributions to the development of Nigeria, which has been a source of inspiration to Nigerians, including the membership and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Oduwole, besides serving as a Special Adviser to the President, is the pioneer Secretary of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC), chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and coordinates the activities of its secretariat where policies and business reformations that would make Nigeria a progressively easier place to do business are developed and implemented.
The body noted that “ Under her stewardship, the World Bank recognized Nigeria twice as a global top 10 reformer, among other notables by the team at the Secretariat targeted at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises across different constituencies and sectors of the economy.
In accepting the nomination, Jumoke Oduwole, the PEBEC Secretary and Special Adviser to the President on Ease of Doing Business, “is humbled by my nomination to the Board, especially at a time our great Party prepares for the general elections.
Oduwole stated that she looks forward to joining her colleagues on the Board of the Forum to “establish a framework for the harnessing of our individual competencies as professionals in politics for the improvement of our national outcomes.”
The APC Professionals’ Forum is a registered stakeholders forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC), comprising professionals, technocrats in diverse fields who are registered members of the Party.
