Businessday media limited is set to host key stakeholders in the Nigeria solid minerals sector to a conference in Abuja.

Dele Alake, Minister of Solid Minerals Development is the keynote speaker at the Conference scheduled to hold the Hawthorn suites, Area 11, Abuja.

The conference with the theme: ‘Digging deeper: Diversifying Nigeria’s economy for wealth creation’, seeks among others to create a platform for driving conversation towards sustainable mining practices and responsible resource utilization in Nigeria.

The other objectives of the conference are to promote clearer understanding of best practices for sustainable mining in Nigeria, strengthened partnerships between government agencies, mining companies, and local communities, increased adoption of advanced technologies for responsible mineral extraction and processing.

The conference also seek to drive enhanced regulatory frameworks that support sustainable mining practices, increased investment interest and opportunities in the solid minerals sector.
