She said, “How do I put over a decade of the most beautiful intentional friendship into words? Thank you for the gift of your friendship. To say I love you is an understatement. I adore you! I take solace in the fact that you lived the last two years of your life on your own terms, away from the noise in the cutest love bubble with your gorgeous wife. I will miss you forever bestie.”

Her emotion is not any different from that of Uti Nwachukwu, who used to be Alexx’s best buddy.
The reality show winner and actor said he had yet to assimilate the fact that Alexx has passed away.

He said, “I still cannot put my thoughts together. I am angry. I am devastated. I am sad. I am confused. You were my best friend for years. Alexx! It felt like you were sleeping! I felt like if I tapped your shoulder you would laugh and wake up and say psyche! And then we’d all laugh and say no try this nonsense again! Your signature smile on your face as you slept on gave me some solace that truly you are in a better place.

Uti would recall the online trolling Alexx faced but was still able to move on.

“They bullied you consistently yet you still stayed strong and rose above their unkindness. I’ve had to hold myself back from giving people a piece of my mind. I have also had to remind myself that you always wanted peace.
“We have too many memories that I can’t even begin to mention. Nobody will ever understand the brotherhood we shared. I miss you my friend. There’s no comfort! You were the younger bro and my first best friend in the industry. I’m not ready to say goodbye yet. But I will with time.”

Former Mr. Nigeria and actor, Bryan Okwara, was also emotional as he penned down his tributes.

He wrote, “You never gave me a chance to say goodbye. And even if you did, I wouldn’t have been able to say it. You never did ask me for anything… Knowing full well that I got you any day but whenever I called to celebrate with me you never hesitated to show up. I’ve never heard you speak ill of anyone, nor did gossips and bad intentions come from you. You identified the “Good” in everyone.

You have always loved God and it speaks with your intentions.”
Popular actress, Ruky Sanda, said she was still in shock and didn’t know how to take in the news of Alexx’s passing.

She said, “This is the most unimaginable thing I could ever have to write. It still seems so unreal. Alexx, you were such a vibrant light to this world. You were so talented, positive and full of prayers and good words consistently. Only God truly knows all things, and He has decided to take you home. I truly wish you were here with us and you lived to a good old age but who can thwart our God? Thank you Alexx for being a great and genuine friend.”
