Professionals, innovators, and thought leaders from six countries are putting in place plans to advance LinkedIn’s innovation landscape by uniting Africa’s brightest minds to discuss the future of work and sustainable development.
This step will be achieved during the 2025 LinkedIn Local Nigeria (LLN) networking conference that will bring together over 5,000 stakeholders to deliberate on redefining how Nigeria engages with the world.
According to the organisers, part of what these brightest minds in Africa would deliberate on come July 26th in Lagos is insights on artificial intelligence, the future of work, and sustainable development.
Speaking about the game-changing professional gathering, Oladotun Ajayi, Event Lead said this transformative event represents a pivotal moment in Nigeria’s professional landscape, focusing on technological innovation, digital transformation, and cross-border collaboration.
Ajayi said that LinkedIn Local is a global movement designed to take online connections offline, fostering meaningful, in-person conversations within professional communities. LinkedIn Local Nigeria serves as the national hub for this movement, bringing together professionals from diverse industries to network, collaborate, and drive change.

According to Ajayi, LinkedIn Local Nigeria 2025 is more than a networking conference, it is a movement redefining how Nigeria engages with the world.
“By bringing together the brightest minds in technology, business, and policy, we’re creating a launchpad for the next wave of innovation and global collaboration,” she said.
Ajayi said the programme with the theme, ‘Evolving Beyond the Narrative’ will see Seyi Tinubu deliver the keynote address, adding that the programme will also feature over 30 exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge solutions and 10 world-class speakers sharing insights on artificial intelligence, the future of work, and sustainable development.
Among the professionals and industry experts expected to provide insight at the event are Yemi Osinbajo, former vice president of Nigeria; Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour party, Ibukun Awosika, founder of the Chair Group; Sam Adeyemi, senior pastor Daystar Christian center.
Other include; Tonye Cole, candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in the 2023 Rivers State governorship election; Tunde Onakoya, Internationally-recognised chess player and Guinness World Record holder; Bayo Omoboriowo, Tonye Cole, Akin Akinpelu, Jamila Ibrahim, Olakunle Soriyan, Funmilayo Felix Adejumo and Ann McAfee.
She further said that this year’s central event unifies these communities under a shared vision of progress and innovation and aims to build Nigeria’s next generation of innovators.
