The world we live in functions based on laws and the word of God is our legal foundation for addressing the issues of life. Most of the confusions and doubts we have experienced in our walk of faith are as a result of this truth not being clear to us. God our father in His infinite mercy and love gave us the authority to exercise our rights in order lay claim to what is ours. However, the enemy of our soul has recorded so much success in his antics against us due to our ignorance in this area. He is aware of the supply and is highly amused at our ignorance as well. This status places us at a great disadvantage in life. Little wonder we unanimously conclude that Satan is very powerful. Our reaction to fear and distress in times of crisis is a proof of this mindset. And for your information, our sworn enemy has vowed to deprive us of what is ours here and in eternity. Except we come to know the truth and act accordingly, then we remain doomed losers.
Scriptures tell us in Galatians 4:1 that although we are heirs of a household, but so long as we act like babies, we would remain suppressed, oppressed and depressed by the servants (paraphrased). Our maturity in knowing who we are makes us to know that we are the advocates of our destiny, in fact, senior advocate for that matter. Your maturity makes you know that all things are yours. All things that make for good life and godliness have been fully paid for by Jesus. Your success in the world of business, good health, prosperity etc, are hinged on this truth.
Armed with this truth, therefore, you unleash the volley of it on the devil with great assurance and confidence in your heart as you stand your ground. You can never succeed at displacing the devil except this truth has been engraved in your heart. The enemy will put it to you that you are a failure before you even begun. However, as the senior advocate of your life your response to such thoughts is very critical, and you must never keep silent. You must let the enemy know that all that is needed is the blood and it was spilled by Jesus, therefore your claims are just so what is yours must be released to you.
In real life scenario, nobody ever sees a Senior Advocate keep silent and win a case in court. Your mouth must speak of the truth you know with vehemence, refusing to be cowed.
So what has this got to do with you being a Senior Advocate? The knowledge of this truth and how to take advantage of it is what makes for you being a Senior Advocate of your life. There are enough forces of evil stationed against your life with the sole purpose of preventing you from ever knowing what was prepared for you, let alone take advantage of it. This is where what bible says about “fighting the good fight of faith” comes handy. It is only they that know their God that are strong and able to do exploit in life. Your allegiance, your trust must be in God for you to possess what is yours. The forces of evil that govern life have made claims over what belongs to you. Your demand based on active knowledge delivers your inheritance into your hands. The information that makes for requisite knowledge is resident in the WORD of God. Every SAN in life is confirmed to be a dedicated scholar in their field, so also as a Senior Advocate of your life same goes for you.
You can never take advantage of what you do not know. You cannot win when you do not know what makes for winning. You cannot fight successfully when the basic information required is absent. Except adequate, non-stop attention is given to the WORD of God and practised, we cannot be worthy to be called a Senior Advocate. So this year for you to be an honourable and respected member in life this is what it takes. You do not need a title as a pastor or minister of the gospel before the forces of hell recognise you and give you your dues in life. Many times in the business world, why we lose out is not because God failed us, it is because we failed God. We are expected to dissect the situation through the eye of the WORD, and fight with the WORD until what is yours by right is delivered into our hands. This truth makes you to be emboldened to take what is yours. You are either a Senior Advocate of your life or you remain a victim of life. There are no two ways to it.
