I joined Leadway Assurance in 1995 as a personal driver to the Head of General Services. I worked diligently with him for about 15 years, as he carried out his job at building and expanding the business. In 2016, I was promoted to the position of the Head Driver for the organization. The journey ever since has been worth the while. For me, it has been a journey of learnings on integrity, service, customer focus, openness, mutual respect and excellence.
Holding a key position at an industry-leading organization, like Leadway, has instilled in me, leadership skills. I am not only good at what I do now, but I am also the best at it. And this has been proven from the way my team and I carry out our duties. In my 24 years of service, I can confidently say that I have become a great asset to the organization and its people. I am proud of my work, and I know the organization appreciates my work and the value I bring to its overall performance.
For 50 years, Leadway has kept its promise of putting the customer first. I was privileged to have met the founder, Sir, (Dr.) Hassan Olusola Odukale, a.k.a Dudu as he was often called. He was an exceptional leader who believed in diligence. Through hard work, confidence, and honesty, he built a business that has outlived him. Right from the reception personnel to the management staff and the drivers, the Leadway spirit of excellence is visible.

At the start of my career, the expectation was to do my best and leave the rest to God.
