Iwunor Anslem Chibuzor better known as Rich Plug is undoubtedly a greenhorn in the music industry but when it comes to the matters of the heart, the Cyprus based Nigerian knows the value and importance of marriage.
In a recent interview, Rich Plug expressed his position on having a child out of wedlock, clearly stating that he has no control over what the future holds.
Hear him, “I do believe in marriage; it comes with peace of mind if you love and be loved. My plans for getting into marriage are not now. I plan to meet the love of my life who will love me and will cherish me. But that will be when I know I’m good to go, I don’t want to get into marriage so quick until I have acquired and achieved my goals in life.
Also at the moment, I don’t have a Baby Mama, and I can’t guarantee that I can’t have one, I will just stick to what the future holds.”
The 21- year-old Anambra State indigene highlighted the specific things he sees in Nigerian artists, Wizkid and Burna boy that inspires him.
Rich Plug, the rapper said the duo inspire him with their kind of music and it gives him peace.
“I see Wizkid, 6ix9ine, Lil Durk, Burna Boy, Lil Baby, and some other unmentioned artists as role models because they motivate me. If I asked to pick three top stars for a collaboration, I would pick Wizkid, Lil Baby, and Burna Boy because I find peace, comfort, and fun in their ways of singing, they motivate me to do greater things and put in my best,” he stated.
Speaking on how he started music, Rich Plug assures his fans that he is here to stay and as well as leave an imprint in the fiercely competitive Nigerian music industry.
“I got into music because I see myself at the top and I have a great love for music, I see many things I want in music, I love it and I’m going to do my best never to fall back.
“I’m here to stay and make name for myself, it’s better late than never, everyday I believe I will one day be at the top. My future is on my mind every day, I just want to be great for real, I know I will have to put more effort into what I want. I don’t see anyone as competition,” he avowed.
On what motives him, Rich Plug presently studying for his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration adds, “My motivation is where I come from, I did not experience rich background. I get motivated by completing a difficult project, and seeing it through to the end. I really reckon life itself doesn’t bear a meaning and we are given it to wander without a preordained purpose, I live by what comes and goes.
