Uche Uzoebo is the Chief, Distribution & Stakeholder Engagement Officer of Shared Agent Network Expansion Facilities Limited (SANEF).

SANEF serves as an enabler in the financial inclusion ecosystem in Nigeria, collaborating with various stakeholders to expand the frontiers of financial inclusion which includes agent expansion, financial literacy, public enlightenment, policy advocacy and technological solutions for products and services to increase agent business viability and agent network sustainability.

Uche is a proven change and result oriented professional with strong business acumen, leadership, and management qualities. A financial inclusion and digital payment expert, a certified business consultant, a charismatic distributive business expert, gender specialist and advocate working with entrepreneurs particularly women to impact them with over two decades of banking experience.

With her passion for financial inclusion and digital payments, she brings her talent and wealth of knowledge in this field to drive digital financial services and financial inclusion in Nigeria and beyond, amongst other areas working with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), financial service providers, government stakeholders, international organisations and other Financial Service Industry (FSI) ecosystems to achieve this goal.

Uzoebo has guided major policy and institutional changes in the Nigeria’s digital financial services and financial inclusion/financial literacy landscape, championed several high-level industry convenings, mediations between financial institutions, policy makers/ regulators, development partners, civil societies, and customers. She has extensive experience working within the low-income segment, developing, and deploying inclusive financial products/services that meets their need.

Uche is a very passionate and self-driven individual and is committed to motivating and mentoring women, young people, and youth.

Uzoebo says she always draws strength from conversing with women on the multiple opportunities available within the financial inclusion and financial services space. The stories of women who have chosen to lift themselves out of poverty by doing something to break the economic barriers that try to hold them back. The stories of women in corporate leadership who defied all odds to succeed, and the many other stories of Nigerian women doing magic as they work towards embracing equity.

Uche is a Certified Product Manager, a Certified Licensed National Business Development Service Provider (NBDSP), LPI-IFC TPMA Certified Trainer, a member of the Association of International Product Marketing & Management (AIPMM), a member of Global Women in Management, a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Chairperson, Financial Inclusion Channels Working Group, (FICWG), a Fellow of Acumen West Africa and a Fellow of The Microfinance Association, UK.
