The All-Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain in Ekiti South West Nigeria, A member of Amotekun stakeholders and a strong believer of Yoruba traditions and customs in Ekiti State South West Nigeria, Chief Awokusibe, in his interview with our correspondence on Saturday 20th February 2021, told our correspondence that he will not condole troublesome Fulani herdsmen who have suddenly become nightmares to many Nigerians.
In his reaction, he threaten fire and brimstone on any Fulani herdsmen who misbehaves in South West generally, saying, he will not only make them regret their actions, but also make South West generally very uncondusive for them and their cows.
Chief Awokusibe has thrown his support for the Yoruba OPC activist, Sunday Igboho, who sometime ago gave all herdsmen in South West Nigeria, Ultimatum to leave the region.
Chief Awokusibe berated some Yoruba leaders who have gone behind to betray the Yoruba OPC activist, calling them saboteur, who deserves nothing short of death.
According to him, the South West Nigeria, and Nigeria as a whole has for so long tolerated the herdsmen and their excesses, and as such, somebody need put an end to their excesses, as he said, they hold strong the view Nigeria is theirs, which he said is a wrong notion and somebody need correct their mentality, of such primitive notion.
Speaking in his hometown Iyin-Ekiti, in Ekiti State Nigeria, the APC Chieftain and Amotekun stakeholder condemned those who are working against Yoruba Activist, Sunday Igboho, saying the Fulani herders must vacate Yoruba land. He said the battle line is drawn and that its going to be an eye for eye. He said he will not allow the Fulani herdersmen to take control of Yoruba land under his watch.
