Tonia Pharmacy, a clinical pharmacy provider based in Abuja with operations extending across Nigeria, continues to focus on medication quality, clinical practice, and patient access. With an estimated annual reach of over 10 million patients nationwide, supported by its retail footprint and wholesale pharmaceutical distribution, the organization has positioned itself as a contributor to improving healthcare access.

In commemoration of World Pharmacist Day (September 25, 2025), Tonia Pharmacy delivered in-branch clinical consultations, medication therapy management reviews, and a public sensitization campaign on rational drug use across its seven branches in Abuja. At each location, no fewer than four to five licensed pharmacists were on duty simultaneously, providing prescription verification, patient counselling, and guidance on managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and malaria.

Earlier in the year, Tonia Pharmacy partnered with #E-mal to present a Medical Outreach in commemoration of World Malaria Day 2025 under the theme “Malaria Ends with Us: Reinvest, Reimagine, Reignite.” The event took place on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Tonia Pharmacy Ltd Vehicle Sale Division. All services — including blood sugar tests, blood pressure checks, malaria tests, and medications — were provided free of charge to attendees.

“Our core values are straightforward: genuine medications, accessible pharmacists, and clinical accountability,” said [CEO Name], Chief Executive Officer of Tonia Pharmacy. “We are not in the business of just dispensing drugs. We exist to ensure that every patient who walks into any of our branches leaves with the right medication, the right advice, and the right follow-up. That is what we mean when we say we care for your health.”

Through its integrated retail and wholesale model, Tonia Pharmacy supplies authentic medications while maintaining clinical oversight at the point of care. This approach addresses a significant public health need in parts of Nigeria where access to safe and effective drugs remains a challenge.
The organization’s work has received external recognition. The Health Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Abuja awarded Tonia Pharmacy a Certificate of Appreciation for its support and participation in the 2018 Health Fair themed “Know Your Numbers, Know Your Health,” signed by Regional Medical Officer Dr. Dawn Osterholt. The recognition cited the pharmacy’s role in promoting preventive health and improving workforce wellness.

With seven strategic locations across the Federal Capital Territory, Tonia Pharmacy operates both retail and wholesale divisions. Its head office is located at No. 12 Ogbomosho Street, Area 8, Garki Abuja, with additional branches in Maitama, Wuse, Garki II, Mabushi (The Capital Hub), Central Area (Grandsquare), and a dedicated Wholesale Division. The pharmacy serves individuals, families, and healthcare providers who require genuine medications and pharmaceutical care.
Tonia Pharmacy has announced plans to continue expanding its free community health screenings, pharmacist-led clinical training programs, and public health education initiatives through 2026. The organization also invites corporate bodies, embassies, and non-profit partners to collaborate on future outreach programs aimed at improving health outcomes across Nigeria.
