Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Chief Wole Olanipeken is leading 44 other senior lawyers to defend the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, who is facing false assets declaration before the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Abuja.
Among lawyers in the defence team include, Kanu Agabi , Adegboyega Awomolo, Bayo Ojo, Alex Iziyon, Paul Erokoro, Yusuf Ali, Joseph Okutepa, Chris Uche, Lecius Nwosu, Sunday Amej, all senior advocates of Nigeria.
Defence lead counsel, Olanipekun is currently challenging the jurisdiction of the tribunal to trial Onnoghen.
