A fourth delegation made of the Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, on Thursday visited President Muhammadu Buhari in London.
This was disclosed by a series of pictures tweeted by the Presidency on its handle, Presidency Nigeria @NGRPresident.
President Buhari has been away for 102 days in London receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailing even as pressure mounts on him to either return to his duties or resign.
President Buhari had earlier received delegations from the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF), assuring them that he was merely awaiting his doctors green light to return to the country.
He had also told the last team, the media team led by Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed and the President told them that he had improved tremendously in his health, and wished he could return but that he had to obey the doctors’ orders.
Meanwhile, a protest group, “OurMumuDonDo”, led by Deji Adeyanju, and one of its leaders, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, had staged protests asking the President to either resume work or resign and also make public the true state of his ailment.
Another group, under the platform of Center for Civil Society and Justice, CCSJ, led by Comrade Prince Goodluck Obi Nelson, had also staged protests, saying the President should be left alone to recover fully from his ailment and continue his fight against corruption.
