Finance minister to inaugurate Insurers Committee

The new Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun will Thursday in Abuja inaugurate the Insurers Committee, a body that could be likened to the Bankers Committee.

The event which will take place at Sheraton Hotel, at 9am have all insurance CEOs as members of the Committee, while Mohammed Kari, commissioner for Insurance will Chair the Committee.

The Insurers Committee is similar to the Bankers Committee and offers opportunity to industry players to engage in meaningful discussions on the issues and challenges of the sector while proffering solutions. Post inauguration, the Committee is expected to meet once every month.
