Ebola: Another nurse dies in Lagos

Another nurse, 25 year old Justina Obi Ejelonu,who attended to late Liberian Patrick Sawyer while he was ill at the First Consultant hospital in Lagos, has died, Premium Times reports.

The nurse, who had been at the B Ward – a male ward which is now referred to as Ebola Ward – of the Yaba Mainland General Hospital, died in the early hours of Thursday.

Justina was one of the primary contacts with Sawyer at the Hospital.

Ejelonu was very vocal in the campaign for the release of the ZMapp experimental drug to Nigerian Ebola disease patients. Her relatives confirmed the news.
