Congo, Mali Liberia, beat Nigeria in life expectancy ranking

The World Economic Forum has released data showing which countries have the highest and lowest life expectancies and of the 137 countries surveyed, Nigeria is placed 133 with a life expectancy of 53, bettered by most African countries including even war-ravaged Congo with 59 years.

The best country to live in Africa is Algeria where people live up to 75 years. Nigeria is only bettered by such countries like Chad 51.9, Sierra Leone 51.3, Lesotho 50 and Swaziland which was placed last at 137 with 48.9 years.

Those in the top 10 are all Asian and European countries, while those in the bottom 10 worldwide are all in Africa.

Hong King comes first with 84.3 years followed by Japan 83.8, Italy 83.4, Switzerland 83.2, Iceland 82.9, France 82.7, Singapore 82.6, Sweden 82.6 and in the tenth position is Australia with 82.5 years.
