The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) will on Wednesday, 6th August raise N195.17 billion ($1.21 billion) in short-dated treasury bills at an auction, the regulator said on Friday.

The bank said it plans to raise N45.17 billion in one month treasury bills, N50 billion in 6-month paper and N100 billion in the one year debt note.

Traders said yields on the debt are expected to fall in line with the trend seen at the previous auction since June.
