The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar has won the presidential election in Ondo state according to a the officer in charge Professor Kayode Soremekun.
The final tally of votes in Ondo State showed the PDP candidate won with 275, 901 while President Buhari came second with 241, 769.
A total of 598,586 voters were accredited while 30,833 ballots were rejected.
Turn out was a mere 33.02% of the total of 1,812,567 registered voters.
