Lafarge to pay N3.30 as dividend after profit rises

Lafarge’s Nigerian unit Wapco said, in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange on Thursday, its 2013 full-year pretax profit rose 30.3 percent to N27.71 billion.

Wapco’s  revenue jumped to N98.79 billion from N87.76 billion the previous year. The company said it would pay a N3.30 per share dividend, up from N1.20 a year earlier.
