Shell, Ardova partner to boost Nigeria’s energy sector

Ardova Plc., one of the leading indigenous and integrated energy companies, and global lubricants company, Shell International have partnered to address the role of energy solutions in enhancing productivity, and driving growth within the Nigerian business landscape.

In furtherance of this commitment, the partners launched the maiden “Power Conference,” The event themed ‘Powering Nigeria’s Industries – Enhancing Productivity and Competitiveness”

The Shell Power Conference comes from the backdrop of the strategic partnership between Ardova plc. and Shell which highlights their commitment to advancing Nigeria’s energy sector and economic development.

Delivering his opening speech, Abdulwasiu Sowami, Group Executive Chairman, Ardova Plc., emphasised the essence of creating a platform for discourse on solutions in the energy sector among key stakeholders.

“The Shell Power conference serves as a nexus for experts and stakeholders to readdress the pressing challenges facing the Nigerian power sector. It underscores the critical need and the collaborative approaches needed to drive industrialization for growth and development.

The conference highlighted initiatives and projects that contribute to Nigeria’s transition towards a sustainable energy future, aligning with global efforts to combat climate change and reduce carbon emissions.
