Craigwal Petroshore Limited (CPL), an engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning (EPCIC) company, has reaffirmed its commitment to safety and sustainable project execution in the energy sector of Sub-Saharan Africa through a multi-day safety workshop for industry professionals.

The one-week Hazard & Operability (HAZOP) Constructability Review workshop, held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was jointly organised by CPL in collaboration with NNPC Exploration & Production, WAGL Energy Limited, and McKain Energy.

It brought together project stakeholders, technical experts, and regulatory representatives to examine design integrity, operational safety, and constructability for an ongoing oil and gas project.

Speaking on the initiative, George Onuma, Head of Strategic Partnerships & Innovation at Craigwal Petroshore Limited, said the workshop reflects the company’s unwavering dedication to global best practices and project delivery standards.

He said, “Our participation in the Joint Design Review and Safety Workshops reflects Craigwal Petroshore’s unwavering dedication to operational excellence, global best practices, and sustainable project delivery.

“We remain committed to building stakeholder confidence and delivering projects safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.”

During the sessions, participants focused on identifying and mitigating hazards, validating safety integrity levels, conducting layers of protection analysis, and ensuring efficient project execution methodologies.

Practical solutions were also proposed to address the challenges highlighted during the course of discussions.

The workshop highlighted the importance of proactive safety measures in oil and gas operations, particularly in acquisition, licensing, installations, and both onshore and offshore activities.
