Tokunboh George-Taylor, founder/chief executive officer at SKOT Communications unveiling the 2026 expansion goal said, “The continued demand and rise in applications for the SKOT Impact Academy reflects a shift towards more practical, application -driven learning in communications.

“Our focus for this year is to train over 200 professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the strategic and executional capabilities required in today’s landscape.”

The tuition -free, six -week training programme is designed for early -career professionals with one to two years of experience, alongside the commencement of the second cohort of the programme.

This milestone, George-Taylor emphasised reflects the academy’s broader vision to nurture globally competitive talent and extend its impact beyond Nigeria, positioning itself as a platform for developing communications professionals across Africa and in key international markets.

The second cohort of the training attracted over 500 applications, underscoring the growing demand for accessible, high -quality training in strategic communications.

“The SKOT Impact Academy will deliver three cohorts in 2026 as part of its expanded tuition -free, six -week intensive program for 200 early -career communications professionals.

“Designed for individuals with one to two years of experience, the curriculum is grounded in practical application, offering hands -on learning, real -world case studies, and direct engagement with industry experts to strengthen participants’ storytelling, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities,” the academy management stated.
