Tesco, other UK stores begin rationing amidst Covid-19 spread

As the United Kingdom spirals into a second wave of the spread of the Coronavirus infection, leading supermarkets are rationing of basic items so there will be enough to go round every one who needs them.

The supermarket giant Tesco announced Friday the rationing without listing the items to be so restricted.

Tesco is following on the hills of another leading chain Morrison’s which sent out messages Thursday across its stores warning that there will now be limits placed on the quantity that can be purchased of specific items.

The extra ordinary measures in a country like the UK only helps to show how desperate people are becoming amidst rising Covid-19 spread.
