The Stack Journal unveils website for women-focused tech news

The Stack Journal, a female-focused tech media company, has unveiled a new website to promote women-centric tech content and create a more inclusive and diverse tech industry.

According to a statement, the platform will highlight women’s accomplishments, experiences, and perspectives in tech and empower them to shape the industry’s future.

“In today’s digital age, the tech industry plays a crucial role in almost every aspect of our lives; however, women remain underrepresented in this field. The Stack Journal wants to change this by providing a platform for women to share and receive resources, insights, expertise, and updates on innovations,” the statement said.

It said through its upgraded website, the company will feature a wide range of women-centric tech content across its platforms.

“For instance, you can expect articles on women in STEM, interviews with successful women-led startups, podcasts discussing gender equality in tech, audio-visual learning resources, and essays exploring the challenges and opportunities faced by women in the industry.”

According to Kiki Mordi, founder and CEO of The Stack Journal, the company is forging partnerships with women in the tech industry.

“We’re not just launching another publication but building a community of women by women. Together, we are building a platform that prioritizes us. Women’s expertise and experiences will provide valuable insights and inspiration for other aspiring women in tech, breaking down entry barriers and prioritising a more inclusive and equitable industry for all,” she said.

Mordi who is also the founder of Document Women, an award-winning feminist publication and a recipient of Google’s News Equity Fund added that to feature women-centric tech content, The Stack Journal will actively promote and support various women-led tech events, conferences, and organizations.

“These include networking events, leadership conferences, and professional development organisations.”
