Creditville Group Limited, a proprietary fintech company in Nigeria has announced the appointment of Tai Oshisanya as its new Independent External Director, effective March 2024.
“She is a chartered accountant with 35 years experience rising to the positions of Managing Director of TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Closed Pension Fund, and later Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of TotalEnergies EP Nigeria, and its sister company, TotalEnergies Upstream Nigeria. At various times, she worked for the TotalEnergies Group in The Netherlands, France and South Africa,” the statement said.
Oshisanya is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Lagos with professional training from Deloitte Nigeria. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).
“She has expertise in Finance, Internal Controls, SAP ERP, Budget Monitoring and Performance Reporting, Joint Venture Finance, Treasury and Cash Management, Pension Fund Administration, Insurance, Project Management, Strategy, Ethics and board governance, Change management, Coaching and Mentoring,” it said.
Mike Uwakwe, chairman of Creditville Group Limited expressed his enthusiasm for the appointment, saying that Oshisanya’s addition to the board reflects the ambition of the Group to improve its financial operations.
Oshisanya is an Associate member of WIMBIZ, mentoring women and GAIA Africa. She has participated in various senior management courses and seminars on oil and gas financial management, strategy and leadership, corporate governance and ethics, mentoring and coaching.
