Sims launches new subsidiary to boost power supply solutions

Sims Nigeria Limited, a consumer brand specialised in the sales and distribution of electronic products, has launched Sims Power aimed at delivering uninterrupted power-supply solutions to Nigerians.

The firm said in a statement that through its newly launched Sims Power, it will provide uninterrupted power supply for Nigerians through the use of inverters, panels and solar battery.

“Sims Power will empower Nigerians through sustainable solar solutions by providing alternative power to residential and commercial customers,” Simeon Eyisi, chairman of Sims Nigeria Limited said.

“Sims Power seeks to deliver better air, reduce health hazards, and critically reduce pressures on the national grid across Nigeria,” he stated.

He further said Sims Power is birthed from the joint responsibility to drive technological improvement and availability across Africa.

“Sims Power is working assiduously in ensuring that it becomes a leading provider of digital power products and solutions.

“We are committed to integrating digital and power electronics technologies, developing clean power, and enabling energy digitalisation to drive energy revolution for a better, greener future,” Eyisi stated. “In the clean power generation sector, we hope to help create new power systems that primarily rely on renewable energy.”

Sims Nigeria Limited said in the statement that the introduction of Sims Power holds potential for the Nigerian Green Energy industry.
