Ikoyi Club, Julius Berger sign deal to re-irrigate golf course

To ensure adequate water supply and keep the golf course in playable condition at all times, the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938 has signed a deal with Julius Berger for comprehensive water irrigation of the course.

The project, which will run for ten weeks, was donated by Ikoyi Golf Community Nigeria Association, (IGCNA).

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, the Chairman of IGCNA, Wahab Aminu-Sarumi, said one of the major objectives of IGCNA is to support the infrastructural development of the golf section.

While commending Golf Captain, Meckson Innocent Okoro and his Committee for their progressive disposition, Aminu-Sarumi said the positive partnership between the section and IGCNA helped in contemplating such a big project.
