Forever Living Products (FLP) Nigeria, an Arizona-based multi-level marketing company that sells aloe vera-based drinks, bee-derived cosmetics, nutritional supplements, and personal care products, is perfecting plans to grow its market reach in the country within next few years.
To achieve this, the company says it will be focusing on bringing new distributors as well as utilising its distributors to expand the market reach of FLP products in different parts of the country. According to FLP management, FLP Nigeria and Benin Republic had grown over the years in size, sales and distributorship, thus the need to bring in more hands to handle the growing demands FLP products in Nigeria.
At a recent handover event held in Lagos, Bill Lewis, senior vice president, operations of FLP International, who commended Cornelius Tay and his wife, Caroline Tay, the outgoing Nigeria country manager and managing director, for their efforts in growing the company to an international repute, said their commitment saw the Nigerian company grew from 11th position to the current third in global ranking.
The new management team as announced by Lewis includes Olusegun Israel-Adegboye, country sales manager; Loye Akinyele as director, finance and administration, and Bode Olaside, director of operations.

Speaking on his new role, Olusegun Israel-Adegboye, who stated that the outgoing management had elevated the business to its esteemed position internationally, said his team will concentrate on moving the business to the next level by looking at incorporating wider and newer markets.
“The Forever Aloe-Vera based products provide huge opportunity and aside those in the networks, there are so many other people that can benefit from it. Those are the markets we are focusing on. We will provide our distributors with new tool to grow their businesses. This will help in reducing the increasing unemployment rate in the country,” said Israel-Adegboye, who has received intense training from FLP in USA.
Israel-Adegboye, who is also an entrepreneur, said the future of FLP under his team will only be brighter. “I believe that entrepreneurial growth is key to economic development that is why we feel at home in Forever which is spread out through the remote regions in Nigeria.”
Loye Akinyele, who has been on the seat for over a year, assures distributors that bonuses would be paid on time, and that products will be made available when needed. Recalling that most of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and other government regulatory agencies gave the company awards in the past one year and half, he promised to maintain FLP’s relationships with relevant regulatory bodies.
“We will continue our success showcases across the country. It is something that our distributors look forward to,” he promised.
On his own part, Bode Olaside, said FLP Nigeria had a new focus, which is to build on the legacies of the outgoing management, who had showed the world that it is possible for Nigeria to build a successful FLP business to number third position globally. “We have a good team to achieve a new cycle of success, building.”
Olaside said: “We are preparing for the global rally which will take place in Singapore later in April, and about 120 qualified Nigerian distributors are warming up for the event. This means that no less than 200 Nigerians will be representing Nigeria in the Singapore rally, which includes other distributors who have bought tickets to be able to attend the rally on their own.”
