Key private sector operators in Nigeria on Thursday set agenda for the upcoming Lagos economic summit, Ehingbeti 2020.

Top on the agenda for the private sector operators who gathered at the Ehingbeti 2020 stakeholders’ conference and logo unveiling held in Lagos are issues around infrastructure, waste management, investment, technology and innovation, among other topical issues. They are looking forward to ideas from the summit that would address these challenges.

Some of the private sector operators present at the stakeholders’ conference include Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Egypt’s High Commissioner, British High Commission, Africa Ventures Alliance, among others.

The theme for this year’s Ehingbeti is ‘For greater Lagos: Setting the tone for the next decade’. The state expects to see about 100,000 participants at the summit.

Speaking at the stakeholders’ conference, Samuel Egube, Lagos State commissioner for economic planning & budget, said the state has implemented 193 out of 206 resolutions from Ehingbeti since inception.
