ScientiFRIKA 2026 is set to boost innovation, investment, and growth opportunities across Africa’s science and laboratory industry.
The event, one of Africa’s emerging exhibition and networking platforms for science, laboratory, and biomedical technologies, and industrial innovation, is scheduled to be held from June 2 to 4, 2026, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria.
Stakeholders in Africa’s science and laboratory sector will gather at ScientiFRIKA 2026 to discuss how innovation, technology adoption, and stronger collaboration can accelerate the growth of the continent’s laboratory industry, with the theme, ‘Science Without Limit, Africa Without Borders.’
Organized by Vethan Concepts Limited (VCL) Exhibitions, a subsidiary of Vethan Concepts Group Limited (VCGL), will convene scientists, laboratory professionals, scientific and biomedical equipment manufacturers & innovators, researchers, academic institutions, solution providers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders from Africa and beyond.
The event will provide a strategic platform for exhibitions, networking, knowledge exchange, partnerships, and discussions centered on scientific and biomedical technology advancement, laboratory innovation, industrial technologies, quality systems, and research development across the continent.
Speaking ahead of the event, Osasogie Osazuwa, exhibition director of ScientiFRIKA 2026, said that the event was created to bridge innovation, collaboration, and industrial advancement within Africa’s science, laboratory & biomedical ecosystem.
“We are building a platform that connects global solutions with African opportunities while fostering meaningful partnerships that will drive scientific and industrial growth across the continent,” Osazuwa said.
Patricia Osazuwa, co-event director, highlighted the importance of collaboration and participation across industries and institutions.
“ScientiFRIKA 2026 represents an opportunity for stakeholders across the science, laboratory, research, and industrial sectors to connect, exchange ideas, and showcase innovations that can contribute meaningfully to Africa’s scientific and technological advancement,” she said.
The event will also feature a technical food safety workshop with participation from industry experts and leading professionals, including Michelle Clemmens, professional services specialist, MEA, NEOGEN, Gabriele Casini, sales manager, CDR FOODLAB, Anita Ayre, associate professor, Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Pharmacy, alongside other distinguished professionals across the food safety, laboratory, and industrial sectors.
Confirmed exhibitors for the event include Doble Engineering, Synapse Technologies, LS Scientific, Etcon Analytical, Nippon Genetics, Alstein Hub, Count Me Chemicals, The National Biosafety Management Agency (NBMA), alongside many other participating organisations within the science, laboratory, and industrial ecosystem.
