Keskese wins MTN Benin Republic multi-million experiential marketing business

Mastercard to buy stake in MTN’s $5.2 billion fintech unit

One of Nigeria’s top rated experiential marketing company – Keskese Limited – has clinched the experiential marketing business of MTN Benin Republic.

The company emerged the agency to handle the brand activation business of the telecom company after rounds of keenly contested business pitches that involved several big agencies within Benin Republic, Nigeria and other West African countries.

According to Tade Adekunle, the project consultant, Keskese Limited, in a statement, the success of the company at the pitch is another evidence of the depth of creativity that drives the experiential business of the company.

Adekunle noted that the creativity of the activation ideas at the pitch presentation was mainly driven by research and deep understanding of the brand’s target audience, saying “we are very proud and excited to announce that Keskese Limited has just won the experiential business of MTN Benin Republic. It was a very keenly contested business pitch but at the end of several rounds of presentations, we were announced and appointed the agency to handle the business.’’

Tthe pitch was coordinated by the Dubai office of the MTN Group, which is in charge of MTN business in Middle East and Africa, he said, saying the process which lasted for about two months started in December 2014 and ended last week of January with the announcement of Keskese as the winner.

With this development, the company is set to open an office in Cotonou, capital of Benin Republic, to effectively manage the business while plans are almost concluded to open the Keskese East Africa office in Nairobi, Kenya, before the end of the year, he said.
