Etisalat Nigeria appoints new vice president, directors

Etisalat Nigeria has announced the appointment of a new vice president and two new directors within its senior management team.

Olawole Obasunloye has been promoted to the position of vice president – finance/financial controller, while Ikenna Ikeme and Olalekan Bankole were promoted to the positions of director -regulatory and corporate social responsibility, and director – finance operations and support, respectively.

According to a statement, “Olawole will now assume responsibility for overseeing the evolution and integration of the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions, while Ikenna with over 20 years of legal, regulatory and marketing experience in the banking and telecoms sectors will be responsible for ensuring that Etisalat’s regulatory and CSR interventions continue to translate into positive socio-economic outcomes in different communities across the country.

“As director – finance operations and support, ‘Olalekan will assume leadership for all activities related to the company’s financial systems.”
