Children’s Day 2026: Queen Temi-T returns with “The Hero Within” experience

The energy is back. The stars are ready. And the children are about to have one of the biggest Children’s Day celebrations in Lagos once again.

Popular media personality and children-focused event host, Temitope Chikezie, popularly known as Queen Temi-T, is set to host another edition of her highly anticipated Children’s Day event tagged “The Hero Within with Queen Temi-T” on May 26, 2026, at the UNILAG Senior Staff Club, Lagos, according to a statement.

The premium children’s experience, organized by Queen Pride Entertainment and Media Ltd in conjunction with participating schools, is expected to gather hundreds of children and families for a day filled with music, comedy, inspiration, games, celebrity appearances, and unforgettable moments.

The statement said this year’s edition will feature an exciting lineup including: Illbliss, Ajebo,Funbi, Omotunde Adebowale-David, Baptista, Temilayo Abodunrin, Demilade The Bold One, and many more entertainers and celebrity guests.

The event continues the strong legacy Queen Temi-T has built over the years through impactful family-centered experiences. Previous editions have hosted major stars including Funke Akindele, popularly known as Jenifa, veteran musician African China, Mike Abdul, Jaywon, Benita Okojie, alongside comedians and children celebrity acts that thrilled audiences across Lagos.

Known in the media space as “The Jolijoli Queen,” Queen Temi-T remains one of Nigeria’s respected broadcast personalities with a career spanning radio presentation, production, and entertainment.

The statement said that she recently transitioned to Inspiration FM after spending 15 years with Naija FM. Her broadcasting journey also includes experience with UNILAG Radio and Rhythm FM under the Silverbird Group.

Beyond media, Queen Temi-T is widely admired for her dedication to children and family entertainment. A mother of four, including a set of triplets, she has consistently used her platform to create safe, inspiring, and memorable experiences for children.

Speaking ahead of the event, organizers revealed that this year’s edition is designed to help children discover confidence, creativity, courage, and purpose through entertainment and positive engagement.
