BLUETTI, the foremost manufacturer of high-quality portable power stations, has donated 100 BLUETTI E-40- Series Solar Home System to Yaba College of Technology, Lagos through it’s ‘Lighting An African Family (LAAF) CSR project’.
The LAAF project is BLUETTI’s Corporate Social Responsibility with the objective of providing solar-powered lighting solutions that are both cost-effective and environmentally friendly to underprivileged African families. The students of the Yaba College of technology are the first beneficiaries in Nigeria.
BLUETTI’s Lighting An African Family CSR project is part of the brand’s commitment to supporting sustainable development in Africa.
Speaking during the donation event, the representative of the Rector of Yabatech and the Director for Tetfund Centre of Excellence in Skills and Entrepreneurship & Sustainable Development, Architect Sherifdeen Ayodele expressed his delight towards BLUETTI’s donation and stated that “We feel honored and proud to be the first beneficiary of this project in Nigeria and we look forward to more collaborations with BLUETTI in the future”.

Continuing he said “the school is really grateful for the intervention which will go a long way in assisting the students in their daily campus life routine.
While thanking BLUETTI for the kind gesture on behalf of the Bursar of the School, Olatoye Temilola stated that “the intervention is something that will be very useful to the students because we cannot assure them of regular power supply for 24 hours but this donation will go a long way to help them charge their devices and have light to read thereby going along way to improve the learning of the students”
Part of the highlight of the event includes 3 raffle draw winners who also went home with E-40 Solar Home System and other side attractions.
