On January 2, 2024, Femi defeated Riley Osborne to win the NXT Breakout Tournament 2023. A week later, he cashed in his Breakout Tournament contract, defeating Dragon Lee to claim the NXT North American Championship. This victory made him the first graduate of WWE’s Next In Line program to win a WWE title.
