In a remarkable act of philanthropy and community development, Jackson Bekwele Offor, Managing Director of Pritch Energies Limited, commissioned a state-of-the-art, ultra-modern town hall in Omuikume Omagwa, Rivers State.
The event, held on January 5, 2025, marked a significant milestone for the community, highlighting the enduring values of giving back and fostering growth.
Speaking at the event, Offor emphasised his commitment to giving back, stating, “This hall is a reflection of my gratitude to this community, which has been the foundation of my values and success. It is my hope that this space serves as a hub for unity, love, and progress, where important decisions shaping the future of Omagwa are made.”
A Legacy of Community Impact
The town hall, which boasts a capacity of over 1,000 seats and includes a borehole water system, was completed in a record four months. Beyond its architectural significance, the hall is designed to serve multiple purposes, including traditional ceremonies, community meetings, recreational activities, and civic engagements. Its construction reflects Offor’s vision of fostering a sense of belonging and pride within the community.
Boniface Offor, a surveyor and the donor’s father, praised his son’s accomplishments, noting, “Jackson has carried forward the values of unity and service that our family holds dear. This hall will undoubtedly serve as a cornerstone of our community’s growth and development.”
Eze Achineke Amadi echoed this sentiment, commending Offor for his immense contributions and promising to honor him with a chieftaincy title for his unwavering dedication to the development of Omagwa.

With nearly two decades of experience in senior executive roles and robust international business expertise, Offor has consistently demonstrated leadership and a passion for impacting lives.
His career began as a Field Services Engineer at Halliburton, where he honed his technical and managerial skills. He later held strategic roles at Expro International Group, Eunisell Limited, and NOV Nigeria before assuming his current position as Managing Director of Pritch Energies Limited, London. His educational credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, a Master’s degree in International Business Management from the University of Central Lancashire, and a PhD in Business Administration in progress.
Through the JBO Foundation, Offor has made contributions to his community. The donation of this town hall is one of many initiatives aimed at empowering and uplifting the people of Omuikume Omagwa.
