Three Months after launching its mobile application, Nigerian digital finance startup Snapiro, founded by Larry Frank is stepping into its next chapter with the release of Version 2.0, a ground-up platform upgrade built to meet the growing demands of its user base.

Frank stared Snapiro in 2020 as a simple WhatsApp-based exchange service. Today, it offers a broad range of digital financial services, including airtime and data purchases, electricity and television bill payments, gift card trading, and cryptocurrency conversion.

Since the app launched in March 2026, over 5,000 users have signed up to the platform.

With V2, Frank has focused the company’s energy on what matters most to users: knowing their money is safe and their transactions will go through. The upgrade brings stronger account protection, more reliable transaction processing, smarter withdrawal controls, and an upgraded platform architecture capable of supporting Snapiro’s next stage of growth.

Founder and CEO Larry Frank described the release as the result of months of focused work on the fundamentals. “At Snapiro, we believe that moving money and digital assets should be simple, fast, and secure. As our community grows, so does our responsibility. V2 isn’t just an update, it’s a major upgrade to the foundation of everything we do.”

In a market where users are increasingly discerning about where they entrust their money, Snapiro is making a clear statement with this release: reliability is not a feature, it is the product.

“Every transaction on Snapiro represents someone’s hard-earned money, someone’s business, someone’s future. We never take that lightly,” said Larry.
