Helpful, hands-on advice on business, finance, entrepreneurship, leadership, and many more – A review of Emmanuel Idenyi Shaibu’s Business Digest

Author: Emmanuel Idenyi Shaibu

Publisher: WORITAL

Year of Publication: 2021

Number of Pages: 242

Category: Self Development

If you take a glance at the book cover of Emmanuel Idenyi Shaibu’s “Business Digest,” which has an air of solemnity about it, then you should be prepared for some pretty weighty issues. It would be unreasonable to anticipate anything less from a writer who has worked in the financial sector for the better part of a decade.

It’s not like the author got up one morning and decided to start writing this book. It would appear that he had been providing the financial and life nuggets as part of a daily broadcast for a number of years before making the decision to compile them into a book.

Sad as it may be, you may have to buy this book to receive this useful content if you are a close friend of the author and didn’t read any of his daily broadcast via BBM or WhatsApp.

These daily broadcasts have been transformed into chapters, and they are straight to the point, stress-free reads from which one may learn a great deal.

If you’re the type of person who reads business books, you could recognize the title and feel as though you’ve read or seen it before.

The author then shares some context from his life to highlight the necessity of listening to what he has to say.

It is easy to see that he is a dedicated individual. Not only do his readers believe this to be the case, but there are also other people who, based on the testimonies contained in his books and the people who have benefited from his valuable content, say this to be the case.

From the get-go, you’ll realize that this is a quick read; if you prefer shorter works, you’ll adore it.

As you read, you’ll notice that the book’s content is rich with information. The book contains background information about the Ajaokuta Steel Company, a steel production in Nigeria, as well as some interesting new material.

If you are inexperienced with cryptocurrencies, you can also find resources there. Even if some of his articles are rather old, their relevance remains.

The reader puts down the book and starts to reflect on their lives when they reach chapters like “How prepared are you for your old age.”

A few Nigerian slang expressions can be found throughout the text. Yoruba and Hausa are two other Nigerian languages that pop up in his book.

Words like “wickeding” may make you question whether the editor made a mistake, but it is actually used to emphasize the author’s points.

The book is filled with references to his favorite authors, such as Stephen R. Covey and Sam Obafemi, giving the impression that he is a huge fan.

The author is gracious enough to provide his readers with more nuggets in addition to the 100 already contained in the book.

It is advisable to read this all in one book rather than purchasing a variety of books on topics such as money, business, customer service, leadership, and mentorship, among other topics.
