Celebrating Nigeria’s best in digital marketing

ADMARP

In the realm of marketing, connecting with your audience at the right time and place has always been key. In today’s landscape, that locale is the internet.

Digital marketing, also known as online marketing, encompasses all promotional endeavours carried out on the Internet. Leveraging platforms like search engines, social media, email, and websites, businesses connect with both existing and potential customers. This mode of marketing also includes communication through text or multimedia messages.

The digital marketing market size hit USD 322.3 billion in 2022, according to GlobeNewsWire. It is projected to reach USD 366.1 billion in 2023, with an anticipated annual growth rate of 13.6% until 2032, where sales could soar to USD 1,118.9 billion.

One of the advantages of digital marketing lies in its capacity to deliver personalized messages directly to specific target audiences. This approach has led to increased engagement rates, and conversion rates, and subsequently, augmented revenue and profits for businesses.

In recognition of these advancements, the Association of Digital Marketing Professionals (ADMARP) in Nigeria recently honoured 25 digital marketers at the ADMARP Awards 2023. This prestigious accolade spotlights individuals who have exhibited excellence, innovation, and leadership within Nigeria’s burgeoning digital marketing landscape.

The recipients were presented with their awards at the ADMARP Day 2023 event held on November 9, 2023. The event served as a platform to gather digital marketing professionals, experts, and enthusiasts from Nigeria and beyond. It featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions, focusing on industry trends, strategies, challenges, and more.

The event also recognized other outstanding digital marketing professionals, including Omokehinde Thomas, Adetunji Adelekan, Lekan Lawal, Babatunde Ogunnowo, Chisom Bikawei, Leonardo Okpeh, Ebuka Chidube, and Elizabeth Ogunseye, among others.

ADMARP Day 2023 not only acknowledged the achievements of these professionals but also highlighted the association’s efforts in promoting digital marketing excellence. Established in 2018, ADMARP aims to provide a structured platform for digital marketing practitioners, offering professional membership, training, certification, resources, and advocacy within Nigeria’s digital media landscape.

The ADMARP Awards 2023 event was sponsored by Eskimi, Collect Africa, Dochase, and Appsflyer, further underscoring the significance of these accolades within the digital marketing community.

Additionally, ADMARP highlighted the benefits of becoming a member, stating on its website, “Joining the Association of Digital Marketing Professionals provides exclusive access to various benefits, including industry recognition, reports, networking, job opportunities, and use of ADMARP designations (AAM & APM) in professional titles. Membership is open to all working or interested in digital marketing.”
