Standard Chartered Bank provides financial solutions for NRI in Nigeria

Standard Chartered Bank has announced the launch of its distinct NRI proposition to cater for the financial needs of Non Resident Indians (NRIs) who are based in Nigeria.

The new proposition involves experienced and dedicated relationship managers in Nigeria who will help the NRI clients in Nigeria manage a host of premium facilities and their accounts in both Nigeria and India, while keeping them informed on every detail of their assets with the bank. The relationship managers will also provide customers with a number of services, such as access to world-class wealth solutions, mortgage and global property financing solutions with preferred pricing privileges, global recognition and exclusive banking channels from the comfort of their homes or offices.

Recently, the bank celebrated the launch of its NRI business with Indian professionals at the Indian Professionals Forum held at the Indian High Commission premises in Lagos.

Bola Adesola, managing director/CEO, Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited, during her speech titled “Positioning for Growth – 2014 and Beyond,” said: “The launch of NRI Business in Nigeria marks an important milestone for us in being able to significantly enhance our service to the Non Resident Indian community in Nigeria. By leveraging on our international expertise and product capabilities, we offer customised solutions as well as ease of convenience for their transactional needs.”
