The Google Business Group (GBG) is hosting the largest community-based business conference in Lagos themed BizFest 2018.
The business conference, which is billed to take place on Friday 23rd of November at the Sheba Events Centre, Ikeja Lagos, is expected to have the keynote speaker from Google Nigeria, while other distinguished and successful business leaders and experts like Gene Seow (Global Program Manager, Google), Obinna Ukachukwu (Head Business Development and strategy, Hygeia), Aniedi Udo-Obong (Program Manager, Developer Ecosystem for Sub-Saharan Africa), Modupe Odunyemi (Founder, Capital Square) and Lanre Oyedotun (CO- Founder FieldInsight) have been lined up to share their insights on the challenges, risk and way forward of a typical nigerian entrepreneur.
The GBG BizFest 2018 holding in 35 countries and across 63 cities is designed to bring together Business professionals, executives, investors, founders, Intrapreneurs, entrepreneurs, and developers to understand and share knowledge on how to innovatively and effectively solve business problems and challenges through the use and deployment digital tools and technologies.
The Google Business Group Nigeria Country champion, Mr Kaosiso Anaekwe in a short statement emphasised the need of Nigerian businesses to leverage and maximise web technologies to solve local business problems.
“The BizFest is a conference dedicated to shape discussions on finding lasting and efficient solutions using web tools and technologies in the nigerian business ecosystem” he said.
In a bid to ensure to successful and effective event, the Google Business Group has partnered with innovative and strategic brands such as Google Nigeria, Cars 45, Business Day, Tech Cabal and Tech Meetups Ng.
The event is billed to start by 9:00am with breakfast to help set a relaxed and efficient atmosphere for discussion and learning.
